Our Story

Tampa Muay Thai storefront

Tampa Muay Thai opened in 2006 with one goal: to teach Muay Thai the way it's taught in Thailand, right here in Tampa Bay.

We're a fun, welcoming gym with a serious standard of training. Authentic Muay Thai. Proven technique. No gimmicks.

Whether you're learning to throw your first punch or preparing for your next fight, you'll train in an environment built around hard work, good coaching, and respect for the art.

Our Facility

Inside the Tampa Muay Thai gym

Our 6,000-square-foot facility is built for training.

Two boxing rings. Heavy bags. Thai pads. Belly pads. Focus mitts. Squat racks. Strength equipment. Plenty of mat space.

Everything you need to train, improve, and keep progressing every time you walk through the door.

Our Trainers

Our coaching staff brings more than a century of combined training and fighting experience to the gym.

That experience matters. You're learning from qualified instructors who understand Muay Thai at every level — from teaching the fundamentals correctly to preparing experienced athletes for competition.

World-class striking instruction without the ego.

Our Programs

Fight team training on the mats

We offer more than 40 classes every week for all levels of experience.

Beginners can build a strong foundation from day one. Experienced students can continue sharpening their technique. And our fight team trains specifically for competition.

Most classes are one hour long, with fight team sessions running approximately 90 minutes. Training typically begins with jumping rope, drills, and shadowboxing before moving into technique and pad work, then finishing with conditioning.

Our Community

Members training together at Tampa Muay Thai

For more than 20 years, we've had the privilege of sharing Muay Thai with the Tampa Bay community.

Thousands of people have walked through our doors. Some came to fight. Some came to get in shape. Some simply wanted to try something different.

What keeps people here is more than the training. It's the friendships. The coaches who know your name. The training partners who push you through one more round. The feeling that when you walk through the door, you're part of something.

Come for Muay Thai. Stay for the people.
